Israeli towns and cities offer a wide range of lifestyles, cultures, and communities. From coastal hubs like Tel Aviv and Netanya to spiritual centers like Jerusalem and Safed, each area has its own character. Whether you prefer a vibrant city, a family-friendly suburb, or a quiet community, Israel has a place that fits your needs.

Where to Live in Israel

When you start planning your Aliyah, you will quickly begin thinking about where you want to live. Israel is a small country, yet it offers many towns, cities, and moshavim. Each place has its own style, culture, and community. Properties in Israel are expensive; however, owning even a small piece of land here is considered a privilege. In addition, buying a home gives you a strong and lasting connection to the country.

Israel’s Diversity

Although Israel is small, it has impressive geographic and cultural variety. For example, it takes about eight to ten hours to drive from the southern tip to the northern border. It also takes less than two hours to cross the entire country from east to west. Furthermore, communities range from ultra-orthodox to fully secular. Even with our differences, we remain one united nation most of the time.
